2nd Round Results  (Assignments Page)
The 2nd Round results from the Short Story Challenge 2019 are below in ascending order by heat number!  If your story is listed among the top 3 of your heat, congratulations on advancing to the Final Round kicking off at 11:59PM EDT (New York time) on Friday, May 17th!  The 90 advancing writers will receive a final genre, subject, and character assignment and will be challenged to create 1,500 word (maximum) stories in just 24 hours.
 
Regardless if your story is listed below or not, everyone should be proud of making it through the first round and rising to the challenge yet again.  We hope the competition was inspiring and everyone continues to challenge themselves as writers. Best of luck to the finalists and thank you to everyone for submitting so many wonderful stories!
